Maraí 401 (40mm) - The Black Shamrock Limited Edition - Dive Watch
A Watch With Character
The shamrock is a symbol so closely linked with Irishness that many have
forgotten its powerful genesis.
Back in 5th century it was the trio of leaves that Ireland’s St Patrick used to explain the Holy Trinity to non-believers.
More than 15 centuries later, our own dubh seamróg - the Black Shamrock - carries a
trinity shaped not by legend, but by the values that define Nomadic.
Exploration. Discovery. Progress.
Three principles represented in every leaf, and the foundation behind this limited collection.

Features
Harp Motif: A harp motif nods to Belfast’s engineering skyline. It’s our representation of the iconic shipyard cranes combined with a traditional Celtic harp. A symbol of strength and unity.
Shamrock Date: A shamrock appears where you might not expect it, revealed in motion and sometimes hidden within the passing days. On day 17 of every month you’ll see the mark of Irishness as a Shamrock replaces the the number.
Shamrock Rotor: The Black Shamrock collection carries its identity all the way through to the movement, where a finely crafted shamrock-shaped rotor reveals itself through the exhibition caseback.
The Dial and Bezel: The contrast between the black dial and the emerald green bezel gives the watch a distinctive character, balancing understated elegance with a striking edge that immediately sets the Black Shamrock apart.
The Story
The Story: A Watch With Character
The shamrock is a symbol so closely linked with Irishness that many have forgotten its powerful genesis. Back in 5th century it was the trio of leaves that Ireland’s St Patrick used to explain the Holy Trinity to non-believers. More than 15 centuries later, our own dubh seamróg - the Black Shamrock - carries a trinity shaped not by legend, but by the values that define Nomadic.
Exploration. Discovery. Progress.
Three principles represented in every leaf, and the foundation behind this limited collection.
Character isn’t added; it’s built, layer by layer, and visible from the first glance. The meeting of black and green, and the quiet signatures woven into each design, speak to a watch created with intention. These are pieces made to stand apart, yet never feel forced - confident enough to carry their identity without explanation.
Look closer and the story deepens. A harp motif nods to Belfast’s engineering skyline. A shamrock appears where you might not expect it, revealed in motion and sometimes hidden within the passing days - subtle reminders that character lives in the details as much as in the design itself. Each element reflects a belief that watchmaking should feel personal, expressive and grounded in place.
Forged in Belfast and shaped by a spirit of independence, the Black Shamrock collection brings together three watches under one philosophy: exploration in their presence, discovery in their craftsmanship, and progress in the stories they gather on the wrist.
Limited in number but never in character, the Black Shamrock is more than a mark on a dial. It’s a symbol of individuality - a modern trinity expressed through watches with character.
