Nomadic Watches is a Belfast-based luxury brand that specializes in attainable, modern tool watches with attention to detail and rugged durability. With swelling interest from global clients across 38 countries, Nomadic is building upon its E-Commerce and retail success to expand our watchmaking team in Belfast. 

We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Watch Technician to join our world-class team. This is an exceptional opportunity to work alongside our Master Watchmaker, contribute to putting Belfast on the global watchmaking map, and play a crucial role in the growth of Nomadic.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Watch Assembly:
    • Skillfully assemble and disassemble luxury timepieces, ensuring precision and meticulous attention to detail.
    • Collaborate closely with the Master Watchmaker to achieve and maintain the highest standards of craftsmanship.
  2. Quality Control:
    • Conduct thorough quality checks on finished watches to ensure adherence to Nomadic Watches' exacting standards.
    • Identify and rectify any issues in the assembly process to maintain exceptional quality.
  3. Packaging and Logistics:
    • Package finished watches meticulously, including warranty cards and relevant information, for delivery to clients.
    • Produce daily shipping manifests and efficiently fulfil orders using online courier systems.
    • Organize and manage returns with a keen eye for detail.
  4. Repairs and Maintenance:
    • Perform basic watch repairs and routine maintenance services, demonstrating expertise in handling various complications and movements.
    • Diagnose and troubleshoot issues, providing efficient solutions to restore watches to optimal condition.
  5. Collaboration and Learning:
    • Work closely with the Master Watchmaker and other team members, actively participating in knowledge exchange to enhance technical skills.
    • Engage in ongoing training and development programs to stay abreast of industry advancements.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a Watch Technician or able to demonstrate significant hobbyist skills.
  • Strong technical skills in watch assembly, disassembly, repairs, and maintenance.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, patience and commitment to precision craftsmanship.
  • Excellent organizational skills, particularly in packaging, logistics, and order fulfillment.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills under the guidance of a Master Watchmaker.
