At Nomadic, we love turning passions into timepieces, and Colin Geddis had two he wanted to celebrate: comedy and watches. The Northern Irish comedian wanted a watch that was as much a nod to his craft as it was a statement piece, so we created something truly his - the Stage Timer.
Built on our Marai 401 collection, the watch was customised to reflect the rhythm of stand-up. The bezel features set-time markings - the little increments every comedian knows by heart. Colin also requested a bold red minute hand for extra flair, and on the back, the rotor was shaped like a microphone, a cheeky nod to life on stage.
This custom project was as much about personality as it was about precision, balancing the seriousness of watchmaking with the humour and energy of performance. The Stage Timer became more than a custom piece - it was a perfect reflection of Colin’s world, where timing is everything.
