The Story
Céad is the Irish word for ‘first’ - a fitting name for our debut chronograph. It celebrates milestones in Irish motorsport and honours legendary riders.
The number 126 marks a lap speed record of 126mph, set by our ambassador Glenn Irwin at the North West 200 - making him the first to break the 125mph barrier. It’s also a subtle tribute to Joey Dunlop’s 26 victories at the Isle of Man TT.
Originally invented to time horse races, the chronograph has evolved to measure a different kind of horsepower. Today, it’s a staple of motorsport - worn by racers, pit crews, and fans alike. But it’s not just for the track. It’s for anyone who wants to make the most of every second, doing what they love with the people they love - measuring moments that matter.
Nomadic is as much about treasuring time as it is about measuring it - a transformation from where you’ve been, to where you are now.

Inside the Céad 126 beats the Sellita SW500 M-a D4 - a Swiss chronograph caliber built on one of watchmaking’s most trusted foundations. Robust, precise, and endlessly reliable.
With 21 jewels, a high-beat rate of 28,800 vibrations per hour, and a 58-hour power reserve, the SW500 delivers smooth chronograph function and dependable accuracy, day after day. Its cam-operated mechanism is engineered for durability and serviceability, a movement designed to be used, not hidden away.
The D4 grade finishing elevates the caliber with superior adjustment and enhanced refinement, while practical details such as hacking seconds and a quick-set day/date complication ensure everyday utility.
The SW500M is regarded as one of Switzerland’s true workhorse movements - but with a pedigree that speaks of both endurance and elegance. It is this balance of heritage craftsmanship and modern reliability that makes it the natural choice to drive the Céad 126.
