The Embedded Meanings
The Fíor meaning ‘true’ in Irish,is a reminder of your roots, because no matter where you’re from, or how far you go, home will always be home...
For Nomadic, it’s 54°34' North, 5°55' West. The coordinates of Belfast. The city we’re proud to call home.
The 24-hour hand in our signature yellow colour, is our humble nod to the iconic Samson and Goliath cranes of Harland and Wolff.
No matter where you are, set your yellow 24hr hand to strengthen the connection with your own personal ‘somewhere out there’, be that home, a special memory, or plans for a future journey.
Because who you are, is not where you are. It’s where you’re from. Where others still are. Where the places and memories that made you, you, still are.
So, even though you may not be there right now, or for quite some time to come, it’s right to stay in touch. With those who mattered then. With those who matter even more right now.
Wherever you are, stay close. Stay yourself. Stay true.
Fíor 555. Telling time and truths across the world.
What Our Customers Say

I was lucky to get a black shamrock limited edition and love the look and wearability of the watch. An Initial problem with the watch was sorted out quickly and professionally and I am now wearing it daily. I have had several comments about it, very happy with the watch. Thanks to the guys at Nomadic, great customer service.

Just bought no4 of 33 limited edition black shamrock, excellent watch for the money and not too big on the wrist shown with the black rubber strap

Love my new Marai, watch looks great. Went for emerald green. Quick release bracelet is brilliant. Can change straps with ease. Like a different watch on rubber and bracelet. Excellent service from Greg at HQ. Thanks

Pictures do not do it justice! I love the deep green of the black shamrock. Although it was a tough watch to get I was lucky to get 19/33. This is my second Nomadic and definitely not my last!

Very glad I decided to try this piece sight unseen. The detail on the dial might be better in person than what’s captured in Nomadic’s excellent marketing pieces. It took me several weeks to get used to the size.

FAQ
Our most asked questions fromm our Nomadic Community about our watches, Belfast HQ and we answer them all here
What is a GMT?
A GMT watch is a timepiece which displays a second time zone, in addition to local time. This is achieved by an additional ‘GMT’ hand which rotates once every 24hrs in addition to the traditional 12hr hands showing the hours, minutes and seconds in local time. Originally developed for pilots in the 1950’s and named after Greenwich Mean Time, the international standard for air travel. Pilots would set their 24hr hand to always remain at GMT time, then adjust the 12hr hands to local time in whatever country they landed.
